South Asia Regional Biodiversity Clearing House Mechanism (CHM) is created and manage by South Asia Co-operative Environment Programme (SACEP) which is an intergovernmental organization created by Governments of South Asia in 1982.

The South Asia Regional Biodiversity CHM created to facilitate the sharing of data and information on the conservation and sustainable use of biological diversity between and amongst various stakeholders in the national, regional and global levels.
